The Foundation at work
Here are just a couple of organizations Tom and Meg were passionate about.
University Of Puget Sound
The Tom & Meg Names Family Foundation is making its largest grant to the University of Puget Sound’s endowment, alongside creating a new fund for student athlete well-being. This grant adds to the existing Tom and Meg Names Family Foundation Endowed Fund for Athletics, honoring a generational UPS legacy. University President Isiaah Crawford deems this gift transformational.
The Community Center at Lake Chelan
The upcoming Lake Chelan Community Center, with a gym, playground, pool, and amenities, will serve as a hub for community interaction. The Tom & Meg Names Foundation plays a vital funding role in memory of residents Tom & Meg. They've also honored Meg’s parents, John & Helen Horan, by naming the new playground structure after them.
Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation
The Tom & Meg Names Foundation is honored to be the first supporter of the New Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. With their history of backing Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Meg's involvement in the Mary Bridge Brigade, the foundation's role is significant. The upcoming hospital will be a state-of-the-art pediatric campus, including an inpatient tower, an ambulatory building with urgent care, and specialized behavioral health services for children.
